I feel that more action / penalties need to be applied to racers that have issues raised against them! A push into barrier or nudge into grass or gravel, only causes proves to the injured party!
Including full penalties and damage would at the very least mean that the culprit can not take advantage friom the blah ,,,, get my drift?

Start again;)
Full damage would make racers more careful on the sprint races IMHO,
As the faster racers would suffer damage for risky moves that are not successful and be immediately penalised with the damage they recive.
The argument that it's unfair for the driver on the receiving end of the accident to suffer damage dose not stand up IMO,
As they would still have the right of appeal at the end of the race, and depending on the circumstances and result of said accident, may have been left in last position as a result. In wich case may take comfort in knowing that the culprit/s are nursing damage...
These are just the thoughts of a few and I'm just putting them out there, but we sertainly need to do something ( regarding the sprint races) as the next one is going to need discipline..

'Full damage would make racers more careful on the sprint races IMHO'

This was something I was going to propose after this current championship had ended.
If anyone knows me by now, I always look for the closest to reliastic experience as possible; I was going to propose another similar touring car championship with a slightly better car pool (No offence to Muza et al here) but running full body and mechanical damage.
I agree with Del that this will make racers more careful when racing and for those who blatantly do not, or make a severe/stupid mistake would have penalties ranging from quali bans, points reductions to race bans, permenant exclusion etc.
What we do have to accept is crashes and occassional mistakes do happen, I know this contradicts my moan/post previously about first corners but as Del says, if you know you're risking damage to your own car, plus possible penalties/sanctions you're gonna drive with a bit more consideration.
I think, in touing car, there's always gonna be a bit of rear bumper, side on rubbing shall we say, thats part of the fun of it and why I enjoy watching it for real. I believe GT6 caters for this and in theory even on full damage your cars not like to break into bits due to a bit of nudging from time to time.
Just some thoughts,

Redd.

I think full damage wii turn races boring, its hard to pass as it is,plus innocent parties could sustain damage and make a bad race worse,we have gr8 replay footage to fall back on to apply penalties after the race, damage will create more problems than it solves I believe, and it will dilute the racing.

im not getting involved in this debate as I could go on and on,nascar was enough for me,someone takes me out I sustain damage further ruining my race sounds like fun, touring cars does have some degree of contact,i don't know loads about gt6 but does it accurately simulate it,it felt ott in nascar that's for sure
