FIA Meeting - 04/02/2014 Empty Re: FIA Meeting - 04/02/2014

Hi guys, I'm absolutely gutted about this but I can't do Wednesday's due to family commitments, we only get home just after 7pm and its straight onto cooking tea and putting kids to bed which means I don't normally sit down until after 8:30pm.
This is really frustrating as I (stupidly) assumed we'd follow a similar time to the NASCAR event and run the GT6 championship every other Saturday night.
I appreciate you can't please everyone and am not at liberty to ask for a date/time change just for me, if it could be considered then great but understand if you continue as planned. As some of you know I'm really keen to get involved in a GT6 league but it obviously needs to fit in with my personal circumstances. I'll keep with the F1 here but I might need to try elsewhere to find a league with a more suitable time in which to race GT6.

Thanks all, happy to discuss,

Redd.

Hi Weasel. Everything here is just a draft and everything can be discussed. I personally didn't want to do a championship every Saturday as it kinda ties up my weekends, but we can look at finding a day that would suit everybody especially as this championship looks like it could be really good.

i put this up so everyone can have a good read and think about it so we should be able to finalize everything next Tuesday.

F1 Meeting notes, 04/02/14

F1 Appeals.

• Tomi to get a warning for corner cutting, as he was noticed to cut the chicane a number of times. It is noted that this is Tomi’s second warning of the season.

GP2 Appeals

• 1. Incident between the McLaren and Sauber. No evidence to suggest anyone at fault

• 2. Incident between Deano and Johnontime. Johan to receive an warning for causing a collision

• 3. Incident between Bjorn and Deano. Bjorn caused a collision causing another driver to spin off track. Bjorn should receive

• 4. language used by Deano. If similar language is used again, the driver will receive a race ban.

• 5. This is ruled as a racing incident. No driver can be deemed to be
at fault, and conrece also waits for his teammate after he spins.

• 6. Incident between Hamish and Deano. Hamish was clearly at fault here, and will receive a warning for dangerous driving and not leaving one cars space for the other driver.

• 7. Incident between Hamish and David. Hamish is deemed to be at fault. Although he was on the right hand side before the corner, he was not on the racing line. And had to cut the corner to try and make the corner causing the incident. Hamish to receive a warning for not driving with due care and attention, noting this is a second warning

• 8. Incident between Deano and David. Deano lunged into turn 4 causing a collision, and did not wait to give the position back to David. Deano was clearly at fault here and will receives a warning.

In addition to the numbered appeals, after reviewing the video Hamish and Deano were noticed to be consistently corner cutting. The standard of racing from these drivers was also poor through this race and considering they have already received a warning they are to also receive a suspended race ban for one race. If they cause any incidents in Silverstone which they are deemed to be at fault then they will be banned for the next race.

2. Bobjims return to league racing. Bob will be allowed to return but which league is still to be determined. We want bob to get his head down and get on with it but if there are any issues his membership will be reviewed.

3. Will setup an additional league to allow new drivers to gain some experience and their pace can be monitored and reviewed so it can be determined what other league they may join. Ideally at the start of the next race cycle this league will become the fourth F1 league (GP4)

4. GT6 championship
Need to finalise GT6 rules and will announce details by the end of the week.
